How long does it take?
It typically takes around 3 weeks, during this time we’ll be talking with your old supplier and arranging everything. Your supply will not be interrupted by the switch. There are set processes we have to follow - but don't worry, we'll only involve you on the rare occasion we hit a snag.
Do I have to contact my existing supplier?
We’ll contact them on your behalf and arrange the switch over and switch date with them. We’ll agree a meter reading with them and then they’ll send you a final bill. The only thing we are unable to do on your behalf is arrange any refund or payment due when your old supplier closes their account.
What if I have an existing balance with my current supplier?
If you currently have an outstanding debit balance with your current supplier, it may be a good idea to clear this as soon as possible as they may object to your switch otherwise. If you're in credit once your current supplier closes their account, they should refund you within a couple of weeks.
