How do I get started?
Once you have the Igloo Energy app downloaded and you’re logged in, select ‘Meter Readings' from the navigation bar and you'll see a button you can click to get started.
We may not be installing in your area just yet. If this is the case, you'll be able to register your interest and we'll let you know as soon as you can book an installation.
What are the questions I need to answer?
Before you book your installation we need to ask a few questions to make sure we are able to install a smart meter in your home. This won’t take long! The questions are accompanied by some helpful information which can help you answer if you're not sure.

What do I need to know when I'm booking my installation?
There’s a few things you should be aware of when you’re choosing the best day for your installation. Keep in mind that:
- An adult needs to be at home for the duration of the installation
- The area around your meters will need to be kept clear
- If your meters are in a communal area, the engineer will need to be able to gain access
- The engineer will need to park nearby
