Your smart meter will automatically send us your readings and you have the option of choosing how often it does this. The more data we have the better we’ll understand you, which will allow us to provide you with more personalised Igloo experience.
If you provide us with half-hourly data, we’ll be able to show a really detailed insight into your energy usage throughout the day, including whether your usage rises dramatically during any specific times. You can use this information to identify where your energy is being used, and likely save yourself some money.
If you were only providing us with daily data however, we’d only be able to give you an insight into how your energy usage differs day by day, which makes it more difficult to identify exactly where your money is being spent.
