If you have been switched to us by mistake (sometimes called an erroneous transfer), please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will look to rectify this for you.
This can happen when a supplier takes over the wrong meter. There are several reasons why this could happen:
- Meters labelled incorrectly in the national database
- Someone accidentally selected the wrong address when switching
- An energy company received your details by mistake
- Your switch wasn’t cancelled in time so this still went ahead
We will liaise with your previous supplier to return you to them. You will not be liable to pay us for your energy usage as part of this process.
