Yes. There are two ways you can add someone else to your energy account.
- Add someone as a joint account holder. This means both of your names will appear on the account statement, and you’ll both share responsibility for the account and bills.
- Nominate someone as a secondary account holder (sometimes called a “nominee”). This is handy if you want to remain responsible for the account yourself, but just need a little help managing it.
We’ll need the other persons permission too. So, to add a joint or secondary account holder please log into your Igloo account and contact us with the name and email address of the person you’d like to add, and which type of account holder role you’d like them to have.
If you’d prefer to call us that’s okay too. We’ll need to speak to both of you so it’s best to call us together.
If you're adding someone as a joint account holder it's also really helpful to send us a meter reading too so that we can make sure your account is up to date.
